Corporate Overview
Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) is a nonprofit membership association and auxiliary organization of California State University, Long Beach—run for students, by students. The mission of ASI is to improve the quality of campus life for students while enhancing their educational experience. It has over $100 million in assets, including the University Student Union, the Isabel Patterson Child Development Center, and the Student Recreation & Wellness Center. ASI also funds various scholarships, major and daily campus events and programs, and supports a robust student-run media division which includes a weekly newspaper, video team and state-of-the-art radio station.
