Have you been thinking about how to make your mark at Long Beach State? Well, running for student government and serving the student body through ASI could be the journey you’re looking for.
Participating in student government gives student the opportunity to represent and advocate for over 37,000 people, partake in operating a $15 million non-profit organization, and ultimately leave a profound legacy on campus and the entire Long Beach State community.
In an effort to get the word out early about all students need to know about running for office, student government released this quick 5-minute rundown. Check it out!
Remember, applications to run for office for the 2018 – 2019 academic year will be available during the first three weeks of Spring 2018, beginning Jan. 22 and are due by 4 p.m. on Feb. 9. Elections will take place March 12 to 14, 2018.
