ASI and the Division of Student Affairs are partnering to distribute hot spots and laptops to students in
need. Currently enrolled Long Beach State students are eligible to rent these items. Requests for equipment
can be made online at this link. After
request is received, a confirmation email will be sent. For any questions, please contact the USU
Information Center at (562) 985-4834, the Division of Student
Affairs at (562) 985-5587, or email ASI-StudentUnion@csulb.edu.
Complete the questionnaire. The questionnaire serves
as an agreement between you and the University.
After the request is received, a confirmation email will be sent.
Devices are available for pick up at the University Student Union at the 1st floor entrance to the Games
Center (near the Bank of America/Chase ATM). Access to the 1st floor is adjacent to Parking Lot E2.
Items can be picked up Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Students must wear a mask when coming to campus. We also ask that if you are accompanied by anyone,
please ask your companion(s) to wait in the car or at a distance from others such as those in line or
the staff handing out devices, unless
you require assistance. Please remember to practice physical distancing on campus.
Students must have their Student ID cards on hand to provide to staff when devices are picked up. If you
are a first-year freshman or first-year transfer student who does not have a Student ID card yet, please
bring a California-issued Driver’s
License or Identification Card, and you must have your Student ID number available.
We have a limited amount of devices for students, and they are provided on a first-come, first-served
basis through this registration form. If our initial allotment of devices is exhausted, you will be
taken to a link to add your information
to our waiting list. While we cannot guarantee devices for every student, we are working to order
devices and provide as many as we can to students in need.
