If Sustain U were a Disney movie, it’d be "WALL-E"! Quirky, caring and on a mission to make the world a greener, cleaner and more magical place — that’s Sustain U in a nutshell! WALL-E showed us what a dystopian world left behind by humans can look like and Sustain U is making sure that kind of future never becomes reality.

From hosting hands-on workshops to giving out eco-friendly goodies and chatting with students about sustainability, composting and recycling, Sustain U is tackling all the issues that WALL-E and Eve would totally cheer for.

So hop on board and join the mission! Check out their workshops like "Trash Talkers" or "Compost Happens"—because saving the planet (and having fun doing it) is something we can all be a part of!

If ASI Student Government were a Disney Movie, it’d be "Zootopia"! Just like in "Zootopia", where every voice matters and teamwork drives change, ASI Student Government works hard to ensure that every student is represented, supported and heard.

Our campus is filled with diverse communities—each with their own needs and perspectives—and ASI’s mission is to bring them together in fairness and unity. They’re the advocates for justice, equality and reform here at The Beach—making sure no rabbit, fox or student is left behind!

If Beach Pride Events was a Disney movie, it’d be "Toy Story"! Remember that classic film that made us wish our stuffed animals and action figures could come to life? Well, with Beach Pride, it feels like they have! Just like Woody and the gang, Beach Pride is full of unique, spirited friends you can count on—always working behind the scenes to bring your campus experience to life.

From unforgettable events to spontaneous laughs around campus, chances are a Beach Pride student worker had a hand in it. This is a crew of diverse yet like-minded individuals who love creating moments that make your time at The Beach special. No matter how tough exams get or how high the homework pile gets, Beach Pride is here to swoop in, lift your spirits and help save the day—just like your favorite toys did.

So don’t forget to saddle up with Woody, channel your inner space ranger like Buzz and join your own Beach Pride gang at their next event—we’re infinity and beyond excited to see you there!

If ASI Communications was a Disney movie, it’d be "Inside Out"! If you didn’t know, this department is the way you hear about all the events, organizations and fun activities that ASI offers. Just like "Inside Out", ASI Communications brings together a range of voices, ideas and feelings to keep our campus connected and understood!

Joy usually runs the show with creativity and excitement behind every campaign or event. Anger can actually be useful in representing our passion for students’ needs, while fear can keep us grounded and thoughtful with our words. Sadness can help us be empathetic and open about understanding other perspectives while disgust can be a way to avoid misinformation and ensure our content reflects true, student values!

From writers and designers to the digital designers, web developers and even me—one of the writers—we all depend on each other to make every project shine. Just like the emotions in the movie, we work together to express what our campus feels.

If the Pantry were a movie, they’d definitely be "Ratatouille"! This movie was a clear winner because the Pantry shares Remy’s motto—"anyone can cook!" Except here, it’s "every student can cook!"

Now, if you’re anything like me, you might cook more like Linguine—enthusiastic, but sometimes in need of a little help. That’s where the Pantry comes in! They’re the leaders at The Beach, providing students with accessible ingredients each week—from fresh produce to milk, eggs and more.

Just like a busy restaurant, they might run out of certain items, so make sure to check them out Monday through Friday to see what’s available for you to whip up in the kitchen! And remember those bustling cooks in the movie, racing to perfect each dish? That’s exactly the kind of dedication the Pantry puts into preparing their Free Meal Kits—available to all LBSU students!

So swing by the Pantry or catch them at pop-ups around campus to grab one of their latest creations. This week’s feature? Pumpkin oatmeal—and we’re pretty sure even Remy would approve.

If the Student Recreation & Wellness Center (SRWC) were a movie, it’d clearly be "Hercules"! Just as Hercules trains hard to become a true hero, the SRWC helps every student at LBSU do the same—both physically and mentally. Every weight-lift, treadmill run or fitness class is like Hercules mastering his powers under the guidance of mentors just like his pal, Phil.

Students who spend time at the SRWC quickly learn, just like Hercules, that true strength comes from hard work, perseverance and a little help from one another to reach their goals. Because we all know—it’s not about the muscle at the SRWC—but the overall wellness of our Beach family!

So step onto the gym floor, or climb up the SRWC Rock Wall, and see how far you can go to unleash your inner demigod—because every hero starts somewhere!
