Join us to learn about the different rights you have on and off campus.
This Workers' Rights workshop will help students learn about the basics surrounding worker organizing, unionization, and the workers' rights movement. This workshop will include various speakers from different backgrounds discussing all of these topics and engaging in a lively debate around many of these issues. The objectives are to raise awareness about some basic principles related to workplace issues. We aim for participants to gain knowledge to develop their civic skills and understand how they can become involved in campaigns on the issues around them. In addition, we hope that participants will draw connections between their own lived realities and the larger issues that workers face.
