Southland Credit Union Grand Opening at the University Student Union

Long Beach, Calif. - Southland Credit Union has opened a new location inside the University Student Union (USU). Southland and the USU will be hosting a Grand Opening Celebration, Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The newest Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) vendor, Southland Credit Union, offers financial services for Long Beach State University (LBSU) students, staff, faculty and administrators, including ATM access, deposits, withdrawals, new account opening, loan origination, instant issue debit and credit cards, digital banking services, remote deposit and an automated personal teller machine.

Southland Credit Union is committed to the financial well-being of students and the entire Long Beach community. This grand opening, a sequel to the ribbon-cutting ceremony held April 2022, is an opportunity to celebrate this new partnership with music, free Sbarro lunch while supplies last, a $500 scholarship drawing, prize wheel and money booth. The ribbon cutting will take place at 10:30 a.m. and the festivities will begin shortly after at 11 a.m.
