ASI Big Event featuring GIVĒON
Long Beach, Calif. - Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) at Long Beach State University (LBSU) is bringing Grammy-nominated artist GIVĒON for the 2022 ASI Big Event on May 7 at the Walter Pyramid.
Givēon grew to popularity from his collaboration on Drake's "Chicago Freestyle" and has since become known for the depth and soul he brings to his music. His hit "Heartbreak Anniversary" reached top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 and earned 2x Platinum status. In 2021, Givēon was nominated for Best R&B Album at the Grammys and won BET's Best New Artist. He also reached the #1 spot on the Hot 100 list with Justin Bieber's song "Peaches", leading to his award for Best Pop Song at the 2021 MTV VMA's. He was nominated for a total of seven awards at the VMA's including Best New Artist, Best R&B and Best Pop Song.
Last month, Givēon performed at Cochella and released his newest single, "Lie Again," and now he's taking center stage at the Beach.
