A new year and a new semester can only mean one thing: Week of Welcome is just around the corner! Stop by and make new connections at one of the largest events of the semester happening Wednesday, Jan. 30 and Thursday, Jan. 31 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the central quad.
Week of Welcome is a program dedicated to displaying the various clubs, organizations and university resources that LBSU has to offer. From fraternity and sorority life to student government to cultural clubs and more, there’s something for everyone at Week of Welcome!
“When you’re a freshman or a transfer student, you want to make a mark on campus,” said Jonathan Ibarra, one of Beach Pride Event’s program assistants. “The purpose of Week of Welcome is to show off what our campus has to offer, but it also offers students the chance to find their niche on campus, whatever it may be.”
