ASI Beach Pride Events has a treat in store with a fresh slate of new titles. There’s truly a movie for everyone in the friend-group with an Oscar nominated list of must-see films. The best part you ask? Showings are free with a student ID and just $5 for guests and non-students.

You don’t even have to leave the university to enjoy a student-geared private theater, an assortment of low-cost concessions and a truly memorable show. Bring your roommates, study buddies and friends to a budget-friendly outing that will make your week!

Movies are located in the University Student Union Beach Auditorium. Kick back, relax and enjoy with showings at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

  • Feb. 26 and 27: “Frozen 2”
    Follow Elsa and Anna along their greatest quest yet in this adventure-packed sequel. Will they save their beloved Arendelle from total demise before the hour and forty-three minutes is over? You’ll have to watch to find out!
  • Mar. 11 and 12: “Parasite”
    This dark comedy thriller made history at the 2020 Oscars for being the first international film to win Best Picture. Captivating audiences worldwide with its unpredictable storyline and comedic take on class divisions, this film will not disappoint.
  • Mar. 25 and 26: “1917”
    Two young soldiers, Blake and Scofield, must race against time and deliver an urgent message across enemy lines before it’s too late. The lives of 1,600 fellow soldiers depend on it in this high-stakes war drama.
  • Apr. 8 and 9: “Birds of Prey”
    Harley Quinn teams up with Huntress, Black Canary and Renee Montoya after her fiery breakup with the Joker. When a young girl is targeted by Gotham’s best villains, Harley and her squad must use their combined strength to defeat the thugs and save her.
  • Apr. 29 and 30: “Little Women”
    Four sisters find love, passion and happiness in post-Civil War America. Experience the inspiring story of the March family as they find their individuality and places in the world.
