It’s that time of year again: an abundance of all-nighters, countless cups of coffee and a flood of free Finals Week activities to help you finish well!
“We’re here to help students relax, refuel and perform better,” said fifth year liberal studies major and Beach Pride Programs Assistant Jonathan Ibarra. “Students can do crafts or activities that help them clear their minds, de-stress and focus.”
In addition to favorite vendors—like henna, balloon and caricature artists—students can participate in several Safari-themed “do-it-yourself” crafts like ceramic turtle banks, safari stand-ups, wind chimes, marble magnets and more!
And as always, students can count on free snacks like fresh fruit, granola bars, donuts, muffins, cup of noodles, hot tea and perhaps most importantly, freshly brewed coffee from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Free food giveaways will be held on Wednesday, Thursday and Monday at 7 p.m. at the Info & Ticket Center Lobby. The SRWC will also be hosting free nap hours between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. in their 2nd floor Beach Balance office.
“With activities like blind sketching, puppy therapy and having a massage therapist, our primary focus is making sure everyone gets through these finals A-OK,” said Ibarra.
