Each year, thousands of students devote themselves to regular exercise as part of Owen’s Condition for Tuition. That hard work is rewarded at the Owen’s Condition for Tuition Finale, a huge outdoor celebration featuring a DJ, photo booth, raffle prizes and free, carnival-style food. All participants in the Owen’s challenge will receive a free t-shirt along with the chance to win exciting prizes such as Beats headphones, cruiser bikes, Hydroflasks, gift cards and even free tuition.
All students are invited to this event. However, students who logged at least 50 workout sessions at the SRWC this year and attend the event will be automatically entered into the Owen’s scholarship drawing. Funded with the generosity of the Owen family, this scholarship covers a semester of tuition. Students still have a couple more weeks to get up to 50 sessions, so be sure to go to the Rec Center as much as you can to hit that magic number!
Again, students must attend the finale event in order to win any of the prizes, so be sure to mark your calendars for Tuesday, April 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the SRWC Entry Plaza. More information can be found here.
