Description
Welcome Back to the Beach! Whether this is your first time on campus, or you are returning, Associated Students, Inc. and the University Student Union are excited to welcome you with opportunities to get caught up with student life on campus. Come meet our team, learn about our services and programs, and, of course, receive a ton of free giveaways while supplies last!
- Join us at the Friendship Walk on lower campus and share your ideas for what you want to see in your future University Student Union (USU). Free food will be available while supplies last from 11 AM to 3 PM!
- Compete in our USU Scavenger Hunt and find out about all the great resources and amenities available to our Beach students. Meet at the Southwest Terrace starting at 11 AM and compete for a chance to win Beach Swag and prizes. Drawing will be announced at 2 PM!
- Participation in this event also gives students the opportunity to enjoy a free meal and be entered to win one of two, $50, 49er Shops gift cards!
- Stop by our table at the Farmers Market located at the Student Recreation & Wellness Center (SRWC) from 10 AM to 1 PM.

Join us at the USU Southwest Terrace and check out all the USU, ASI and SRWC departments from 11 AM to 1 PM for a chance to get a free meal. See what departments and resources are available in the USU and the SRWC all in one spot!
- Meet 22 West Media, ASI Student Government, Basic Needs/Cal Fresh, CAPs/Project Ocean, Guardian Scholars, the Office of Multicultural Affairs, Southland Credit Union, and the Student Recreation & Wellness Center (SRWC) all in one spot!
- Jam out with 22 West Media’s DJ throughout the event.

Sbarro meal vouchers will be given out
- To receive the meal voucher, students will need to interact with three departments to get three stickers on their wristbands.
- Students who check into the tabling event will be entered to win one of two, $50 Amazon gift cards.
- In collaboration with Beauty 2 The Streetz join us at the College of Business from 10 AM to 2 PM. Free food will be available while supplies last.
- Stop by the University Dining Plaza (UDP), located at the top of the escalators, to get free snacks and refreshments. You’ll also be able to see the design concepts for the Future U Project!
