Description

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. left a timeless legacy that continues to inspire generations today. Join us for the 25th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Feb. 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the USU Ballrooms. This FREE educational event is open to all Long Beach State University (LBSU) students, staff and faculty. We will commemorate Dr. King's dream while discussing ways to keep his mission flourishing in an ever changing society.

As Dr. King famously said, "Our dreams are the architects of our future." Let's explore how the dreams of the next generation can shape the world of tomorrow. Join us for an enlightening celebration as we honor the past and aspire toward a vibrant and impactful future.

For local K-12 schools interested in attending the 25th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, please register through this event registration form by Jan. 26. Please take the time to thoroughly review and agree to all terms and requirements outlined in the registration form. Space is limited and schools are required to provide their own transportation.
