Beach Pride Events is proud to present our “Week of Welcome” at Long Beach State University (LBSU)! Every semester, Week of Welcome (WoW) helps students make connections, join clubs and organizations, learn about university resources and so much more. We have expanded WoW to include more events!

Tuesday, Jan. 31 - Wednesday, Feb. 1: Week of Welcome (tabling fair)
Central Quad and Speaker's Platform | 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

WoW will host student clubs and campus departments grouped into different categories. All categories will be present on both Tuesday and Wednesday.

• All members of the tabling organizations and attendees are highly encouraged to wear a mask; extra masks will be available at the Beach Pride Events check-in table.
• Hand sanitizer will be available at every table.
• During the event, attendees do not need to register ahead of time and can participate at any time during the event.
• On event days, visit this page to see a list of the organizations tabling at the event.

Saturday, Feb. 4: ASI & 49er Shops Night at the Walter Pyramid
Walter Pyramid | 3:15 p.m.

Finish Week of Welcome at ASI & 49er Shops Night at the Walter Pyramid for the Black and Blue rivalry game against UC Irvine! Join us in the Walter Pyramid for pre-game activities, giveaways and free food. Stay to watch the game from the Sandpit student section with your friends. Did we also mention we have special prizes?

Doors open at 3:15 p.m. and tip-off is at 4 p.m. Registration is not required. All students enter Athletics games for free with their LBSU student ID card.
