ASI Beach Pride Events presents Ghibli Night! And what better way to celebrate all things anime than with Japan's iconic studio, Studio Ghibli?! Gather your pals to watch "Kiki's Delivery Service" April 9 in the USU Beach Auditorium. The event kicks off with check-in with your student ID at 4:30 p.m., followed by the movie screening starting at 5 p.m. Exclusively for current Long Beach State University (LBSU) students, admission is FREE with no sign-ups required!
Seating is limited and is first-come, first-served, so arrive early to secure your spot! Free snacks will be served while supplies last, along with FREE stickers at our sticker table! And who knows, you might get the chance to win prizes at the end!
"Kiki's Delivery Service"
In this spellbinding story, Kiki, a young witch, embarks on a solo journey accompanied by her eccentric cat, Jiji. Upon settling in the town of Koriko, Kiki establishes the "Witch Delivery Service," where she quickly wins the hearts of the locals. Yet, as she navigates her newfound life, she is struck with unforeseen challenges. Kiki has to rely on the support of newfound friends and together, they embark on a journey to discover Kiki's new purpose.
