As our nation's youth, we have the future in our hands. I cannot fully express in words how important it is that all students at Long Beach State register and participate in our local, state and national elections. To facilitate this process, ASI has recommitted ourselves to amplifying our voter registration efforts.
This year, Long Beach State is competing in the Ballot Bowl, a voter registration competition between us and all other California public colleges and universities. Specifically, we want to show Cal State Fullerton that our students are the most committed to making an impact. Adding to our total point count is easy – just follow these steps:
- Visit www.registertovote.ca.gov
- Click “Register to Vote Now”
- Fill out the first page with basic voter information
- Then on the second page be sure to select your college as “Cal State Long Beach”
- Then you’re done!
Support our democracy, become an active citizen, and help the Beach come out on top as Ballot Bowl champions. Go Beach!
