If you’re looking for something fun and free to do on a weeknight, Movies on the House may be the perfect option! A series held each semester, Movies on the House is an opportunity for students to see free movie screenings in the USU Beach Auditorium. The films shown are generally newer and have not yet been released on DVD.

Smorgasport! Our annual school year kickoff carnival is back and bigger than ever. Leading the school year in true festival style, Smorgasport 2016 will be packed with everything from student organizations, round-up rides, food trucks, inflatable games, dance performances and more!
Staying in town after the semester ends? Long Beach has a wide array of fun, exciting options for you to enjoy this summer! Spend a warm summer night at the weekly “Moonlight Movies on the Beach” events (June 21 to Aug. 30) catching a fun movie on the shore of Granada Beach. Free parking is provided by the Port of Long Beach, and dinner, snacks and popcorn will be available for purchase.
From April 11 to April 15, CSULB will be celebrating Queer Diversity Week - a week dedicated to promoting the better understanding of the LGBTQ+ community and providing informative and engaging programs for students.
Kbeach Radio will represent CSULB at this month’s Beach Streets Downtown, an event put on by the City of Long Beach where the entirety of Broadway Street will be closed down to cars and opened to pedestrians for a good, old-fashioned block party.
The spring 2016 semester has officially arrived, and to kick it off, ASI lined up a number of events to welcome you back onto campus! This year, the University Student Union Program Council kicked off ‘Back to the Beach Week’ by pairing radio stations like Power 106, Real 92.3 and KIIS FM with engaging ctivities like tie-dye T-shirt making, a scavenger hunt, marble mud decorating and vision board-making.
